How To
Step-by-step walkthroughs for specific things you might want to do in MyMeetingMinder —
less "what is this" (that's the FAQ), more "show me exactly how."
Log a meeting you attended but didn't organize, with someone outside your org
Say you're invited to a 30-minute call by someone at another company. You attend, and
afterward want to log it, with your own rate and a guess at theirs.
-
Set up your rate levels first (one-time). Go to
Settings → Level Rates and set an hourly rate for whichever levels
you plan to use — e.g. set Worker to your own real rate, and
Executive to whatever you'd guess the external host bills at. These
rates are private to you; nobody else ever sees them, even people at your own
organization.
-
Add the meeting. Go to Meetings, click
"Meeting not listed? Add it manually," give it a subject and the date/time,
and click Create.
-
Add yourself as an attendee. On the meeting's page, use
Add attendee: pick yourself from the Person list,
choose the level matching your rate, enter 30 minutes present, and
click Add.
-
Add the external host. Use Add attendee again: pick
Other…, type their name (e.g. "Jane Doe (Acme Corp)"), choose the
level matching the rate you guessed for them, enter their minutes present, and click
Add.
The meeting now shows an estimated cost based on both of you — clearly marked as an
estimate, since it's built from levels and minutes you entered rather than a Graph
attendance report.
